Argon welder • Oron, Akwa Ibom State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer ₦300,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
