Automotive paint technician wanted in Clinton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Clinton County, Iowa. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Day-to-day duties: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Part-time with flexible hours.
