Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Yavapai County, Arizona. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
