Vacancy available: building site helper (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a building site helper in Hand County, South Dakota. You will be based on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
