Bar bender and fixer — Ventura County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ventura County, California. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 5+ years on the tools preferred.
