Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Fayette County, Ohio. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
