Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
