We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Fayette County, West Virginia. You will work at a cake shop. The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Score the top of loaves before baking • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Rotating shifts. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
