Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jos South, Plateau State. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Overtime paid at a premium rate.
