Join our team: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Essex County, Virginia. You will work in a busy paint shop. The role involves mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
