Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Chariton County, Missouri. The job is at an auto components factory. The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
