Now hiring: tracked excavator operator (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Houghton County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. Your main tasks: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Part-time with flexible hours.
