Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Durham County, North Carolina. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
