Now hiring: concrete placer (Oregon)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Deschutes County, Oregon. You will work on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
