Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Wayne County, New York. The job is on a residential tower site. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level You will strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN).
