Argon arc welder — Christian County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Christian County, Missouri. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours.
