Urgent requirement: brick mason (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will be based on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
