We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Rosebud County, Montana. The job is in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred.
