Garment machinist wanted in Okrika

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Okrika, Rivers State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line 2+ years on the tools preferred.
