Kitchen cook wanted in Prince Edward County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will work in a hotel kitchen. On a typical shift you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
