Elevator service technician • Grays Harbor County, Washington

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Grays Harbor County, Washington. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
