Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Davidson County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise On the job you will handle: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
