Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Derbyshire, England. On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Rotating shifts.
