Gtaw welder — Ola Oluwa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ola Oluwa, Osun State. On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time, day shift.
