Machinist wanted in Suffolk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off.
