Powder coating technician — Dallas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Dallas County, Iowa. The job is in a busy paint shop. On a typical shift you will sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time, day shift.
