Glass and glazing technician wanted in Caledonia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will work on a high-rise facade project. Day to day you will apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; install toughened and laminated safety glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
