Aluminium fitter — Mercer County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Mercer County, North Dakota. You will be based at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints Day-to-day duties: • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
