Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Griggs County, North Dakota. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Part-time with flexible hours.
