Now hiring: we are hiring a marble cutter in Borough of Bury, England. You will be based at a kitchen worktop showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Requirements: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
