Now hiring: we are hiring an electrical technician in Darlington, England. The job is at a busy electrical contractor. You should have: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams Your main tasks: • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands Six days a week, one day off.
