UPVC door and window fabricator • Sheridan County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
