Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Sussex County, Delaware. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
