Vacancy available: vertical transportation technician (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Orange County, Vermont. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On the job you will handle: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
