You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges The role involves inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items.
