Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed.
