Immediate opening: aluminium workshop fabricator (Arkansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Franklin County, Arkansas. You will work in a glazing and curtain wall company. Ideal candidate: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes The role involves read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
