Urgent requirement: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
