Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in San Diego County, California. The job is at a private estate garden. Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
