Pipe tig welder — Calhoun County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Calhoun County, Arkansas. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
