The role involves: • Report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering • Spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points • Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room • Follow the colour-coded cloth system to avoid cross-contamination • Restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals • Deep-clean rooms on checkout and prep them for the next guest Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in hotel housekeeping • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines 3+ years on the tools preferred.
