Immediate opening: we are hiring a stone mason in Rowan County, Kentucky. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. On a typical shift you will measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish. You should have: • Own hand tools an advantage • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Full-time with occasional weekends.
