Safety marshal wanted in Columbia County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Columbia County, New York. The job is on a high-rise building project. Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
