Elevator service technician • Taylor County, Kentucky

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Taylor County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
