Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 6+ years on the tools preferred.
