Lift maintenance fitter — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Grant County, Kansas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
