Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Polk County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
