TIG welder — Faskari

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Faskari, Katsina State. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
