Aluminium tig welder • Liberty County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Liberty County, Georgia. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
