Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Bedford County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Meals and transport allowance provided.
